| Increasing requirements make it difficult for many people seeking work to get back into the working world. The project workshop for voluntary work and vocational integration with the name “C-Punkt” tries to cater for the needs of people seeking work. It is a contact centre for people looking for help and a place where people are willing to be involved in civic action strategies. Here a list of skills and abilities are drawn up for the people seeking work, and other training courses are also available, for instance interview training, how to write a CV and résumé, language training, internet instruction and communication training. |

This is all possible thanks to volunteers. So that they can competently advise the people looking for work, and provide them with the necessary back-up, the volunteers are given in-depth training beforehand. The social counselling by the volunteers is an important additional factor for the help in finding work. Unemployment often involves many other problems. Being able to get together and exchange experiences in the workshop café makes it easier to make contacts and set up networks. The Auerbach Foundation supports this exchange, which not only helps in finding a job but also in day-to-day problems. |
