| The association “Förderer der Straßensozialarbeit e.V“ [Friends of Streetwork] offers the needy, the homeless or people in danger of becoming homeless help in becoming
(re-)integrated in the working world. This includes job placement work, in particular for disadvantaged youths and those excluded from normal social life. Once their urgent situation, such as homelessness, alcohol or drug addiction has been conquered, they can be introduced to a worthwhile occupation. The integration into working life often falls through simply due to incomplete or unacceptable application documents. Correct and informative documents are an absolute must for a successful job application. |

Förderer der Straßensozialarbeit e.V. offers the job applicants help in drawing up or correcting their CV and accompanying letter, in acquiring any missing documents and taking or selecting appropriate photos. They also offer valuable tips for interviews – in some individual cases they also provide an accompanying person for an interview – and help with correspondence with the authorities. Grants are also given within the scope of this re-integration, for instance for acquiring a driving licence or participating in a welding course or other further education courses, but also for securing apprenticeships and employment. Thanks to the support of the Auerbach Foundation the personnel side of this project is secured. |
