| In the “Sonnenschei” kindergarten in Anklam (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) the children learn bit by bit how they too are responsible for their own health. Various topics are on offer which contribute to a healthy development of the children. During the year the children and their parents gain constructive knowledge on nutrition, exercise, language, communication, dental health, coping with stress and relaxation. With this exchange with the pre-school teachers and the role model function of the adults, the children are encouraged in growing up to be attentive persons responsible for their own lives. |

The project name “BUNT & GESUND” [Bright & Healthy] stands for the diversity of approaches to health promotion from the word go. The range of offers for children, parents and pre-school teachers address the people in various ways and get them involved. Active participation is a lively way of showing what people can and must do to lead a healthy life.
