Grin and bear it?
Not with ‘Trampelmuse’!

'Die Trampelmuse' - Grin and bear it? <br>Not with ‘Trampelmuse’!

Social exclusion and aggression towards others can start at an early age. The theatre group ‘DIE TRAMPELMUSE’ deals with the topic of how aggression can arise and why it escalates? With their repertoire of plays aimed at that specific age group, TRAMPELMUSE wants to encourage children to stand up to aggression and also show them how they can help one another. Instead of looking away, the kids should look closely and recognise the difference between intervening and stirring things up. The aim is that the kids should not just grin and bear it, but know how to ward off dangerous situations.

The plays “HerzDame-SchwarzerPeter-FullHouse” and “Wehr Dich Doch“ demonstrate the various types of boy- and girl-aggression: whether it’s hassle about a mobile phone, a broken bike or envy or showing-off amongst one another. The feelings involved are demonstrated – those of the stronger party as well as those of the weaker. The children in the audience can actively engage in the story and in this way get to know, try out and practise a new behavioural pattern. So that ‘DIE TRAMPELMUSE’ can continue with this work in schools leaving a lasting influence, the Auerbach Foundation is sponsoring this project over two years.

About the Auerbach Foundation

The aim of the Auerbach Foundation is to provide help and support for people on a lasting basis.

To be able to grasp a situation we first have to understand it. And with this understanding we can, within the scope of our project funding, provide an impetus, and that is the first step in helping people to help themselves.

With its charitable and social donations the Auerbach Foundation minimises financial, spiritual, mental and physical hardship. It also seeks to create avenues for art, culture and science and, in doing so, to safeguard values, such as security and creativity.

In concrete terms this means:
  • Funding people:
youth aid, aid for the old, aid for the disabled, development aid
  • Funding education and socialisation
  • Funding science and research
  • Funding art and culture
The Auerbach Foundation was founded in 2005 by the Avira GmbH partner, Tjark Auerbach and finances its projects from donations.

Anyone buying the software Avira AntiVir Premium or Avira Premium Security Suite in the Avira online shop, makes a contribution of five euros per product to the Foundation projects.

In 2008 a total of approximately € 800,000 will go to benefit social and cultural projects.
